The New Idea of Ether

In the FER model we can come back to concept of the ether and still remain in accordance with hitherto experiments that contradict its existence. It can be done now because in the FER, a relative motion of bodies and the motion in relation to the medium/ether are the two separate phenomena, so it is impossible to detect the motion relative to the Ether, using tools appropriate for detection of relative motion of bodies.


The motion of bodies in relation to the ether

In the figure on the left, two bodies are moving
along their trajectories t1 and t2 in the absolute coordinates system ab - in other words in the FER

The bodies can be describes as waves propagating along their trajectories in the FER according to the chapter The Wave Structure of Matter

A length of each trajectory is equal to the time passinng in frames of the bodies and is equal to the SUPERTIME, then the velocity in the FER - it is named the SUPERVELOCITY - is equal to 1 independently of the angle, the trajectory is inclined to the absolute coordinate system ab

All bodies in the FER (moving with rectilinear motion) are moving along their trajectories with identical speed (SUPERVELOCITY) equal to 1.
This motion is the motion in relation to the FER and it can be interpreted as the motion in relation to the Ether. It can be also described as the propagation of waves in the Ether

The motion in relation to the Ether is perceived by us as the time flow


The relative motion of bodies

Now the two bodies are observing each other. In the figure on left, a body 1 observes a body 2 according rules described in the chapters 3 and 4

The relative velocity of the bodies is equal to V=Δx1/Δt1=sinϕ. The relative velocity is a measure of an angle between the trajectoeirs and has nothing to do with the motion of the bodies along their trajectories - in other words:



the relative velocity of bodies has nothing to do with the motion of the bodies in relation to the Ether

In the hitherto experiments, which had to discover the Ether, it was assumed that the motion of bodies in relation to the Ether and the relative motion of bodies are one and the same phenomenon. Therefore for detection of the Ether were applied tools dedicated for measiring the relative motion of bodies. According to the reasoning presented abowe, this were the tools dedicated for measurement of the angles between the trajectories.

The angles between the trajectries has nothing to do with the motion of bodies in relation to the Ether, therefore no wonder that the experiments gave the negative results
