In the FER model we can come back to concept of the ether and still remain in accordance with hitherto experiments that contradict its existence. It can be done now because in the FER, a relative motion of bodies and the motion in relation to the medium/ether are the two separate phenomena, so it is impossible to detect the motion relative to the Ether, using tools appropriate for detection of relative motion of bodies.

All bodies in the FER (moving with rectilinear motion)
are moving along their trajectories with identical speed (SUPERVELOCITY) equal to 1. The motion in relation to the Ether is perceived by us as the time flow |

Now the two bodies are observing each other. In the figure on left, a body 1 observes a body 2 according rules
described in the chapters 3 and 4
the relative velocity of bodies has nothing to do with the motion of the bodies in relation to the Ether |
In the hitherto experiments, which had to discover the Ether, it was assumed that the motion of bodies in relation to the Ether and
the relative motion of bodies are one and the same phenomenon. Therefore for detection of the Ether were applied tools dedicated for measiring the relative motion of bodies. According to the reasoning presented
abowe, this were the tools dedicated for measurement of the angles between the trajectories. |
